August 28!!! Seriously?!?!?!?! How did we get here already? Where did summer go and why does it always pass so quickly? I’m not ready for the warmth and the long days to leave, for the easy life to go away! I don’t want the kids to return to school and be gone all day. Early mornings, lunches, hockey, gymnastics, swimming, homework, GRADE 2 & GRADE 4 - NO THANKS!!!! I usually LOVE autumn but this year I don’t feel as eager for it to happen as I have in previous years. As I type this I'm realizing how similiar it sounds to this! We have had a great summer. We were blessed with lots of beach time, parties with friends, great fresh food and beautiful weather, long days and even longer nights, lots of happy good times…I just want a little more! Please.
Aw, Jen, great post. Even though the kids will be back in school the weather forecast is sayin' that summer is going to be around for a little longer.
