Happy Autumnal Equinox! Welcome Fall! This weekend was a busy but really wonderful weekend. Jackson had a great birthday celebration with his friends, we spent several hours at the Fall Fair Saturday and Sunday, we celebrated Trenton's 3rd birthday, had some good Japanese food, went to hockey a couple of times and as I said, had the amazing pleasure of watching a local Mama bear with her cub for a bit. I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now...sore throat and a cough but hopefully with some rest it'll get lost! The week ahead is a busy one so getting sick isn't an option. Take care.

ReplyDeleteHi Kat, It is awesome to watch the bears but they are definately getting a little too tame here. Lily and I watched the mama and her cub in the photo above for at least 40 minutes last night. We were quite a distance from them but as you can see from the photo the mama is HUGE!
DeleteThis evening while driving home from hockey, a large bear crossed in front of our vehicle right by the grocery store in the middle of town! It was a little shocking! I think we have invaded their space too much and they have no where else to turn.
