Making me happy this week...
♥This past weekend we travelled to Vancouver Island with intentions of visitng some friends, the wave pool, a movie and some shopping-a little Spring Break Getaway. While on the ferry however, the coach from the Rep Hockey Team that Jackson is an AP for approached us and asked if Jack could join the team for a weekend tourney in Nanaimo. To put it mildly, he was overjoyed and super keen. So our two day visit turned to 4 with a daily trip back and forth from Comox to Nanaimo. Jackson played very well. He scored a goal in the first game and received the digger award. The team placed 3rd overall. It was a great experience for Jackson and he came home with another medal to add to his ever growing collection.
♥As our stay on the Island was extended, so was our visit with the Bisson family. The kids get along very well. It was a wonderful weekend of visiting, food and drinks in between our trips back and forth to Nanaimo. Thanks again Bisson gang!!!
♥On our way to the ferry home we stopped in to see my Dad's brother. It's always good to see my
Uncle Ralph. He is most always up to something. He's made a great living as a carpenter and we are all lucky to have some of his work in our homes. He gave us a tour of his old barn which he has now coverted into a shop. He also loves to buy old trucks, fix them up and re-sell them. The blue one in the photo is his latest purchase and he drove the kids to the ferry in it which Lily in particular LOVED. We look forward to seeing him again later this week for Easter.
♥The daffodils are just about ready to bloom. Who doesn't LOVE spring!!!
