Happy Spring

Today it is the first day of Spring and for the better part of the day it poured rain sideways. It was ugly outside which made it all the nicer to come home to some happy daffodils and a couple of pussy willows in our entranceway. Such a nice welcome when you walk in the door. I don't know that I will contribute every single week but I've decided to join Lou of Little Green Shed in her Nature in the Home Series. I had to take this photo with my phone as I've left my camera at my parents place but you get the idea. Daffodils=happy. Check out her week 4 here.

  1. We have proper sun and blue skies today in Edinburgh and snow has been falling. Seem to remember March was boiling last year. Jenny the chick is very cute. katie x

  4. Love the new flag header !! Adorable Springtime collection. I saw the budding huckleberry bushes last weekend and it really make me feel "spring" too. Like everyone else said... LOVE the chick - was that part of your springtime/easter display growing up. So cute.

  5. The Jenny chick was made for me by my Granny when I was small. My sister has a Sarah one.
