Sunday walk at Haslam Lake & some play at Lindsay Park

Plans of a Sunday hike at the Stillwater Bluffs were quickly changed as we headed south of town to black clouds and a hail/rain mixture. We turned around and decided on Haslam Lake instead. It's rare to find many people up there and today was no different. We had the whole place to ourselves. We wandered around in the sunshine, stopping for pictures here and there,  imagining the warmer weather when we are able to swim. Check out one of last years swims at Haslam here. Soon for sure. You can't drive up the way you always could. They have now blocked the road (as seen in the photo above).
It's strange but still accessible thankfully.

After our walk, we headed back to the van and drove to Lindsay Park for some play. Spring blooms are everywhere and my camera just can't help itself. Seems that I gravitate towards flowers wherever I find them. Such beauty everywhere. Has Spring hit your neck of the woods or are you headed into fall? Either way as both are such lovely times of the year - my favourites!
