Making me happy this week...
♥SUMMER IS HERE!!! Sunshine, beach time, cold drinks, light and fresh food, no plans other than a bit of work here and there…enough said!!!
♥Road hockey. Jackson’s team, The Powell River Jets, won two and lost two and tied for best uniform and won $50 worth of pizza. Tons of fun!
♥July 8, 2013 marked 24 years together for Neil and I and 13 years of marriage. Neil worked in the morning and I stayed home with the kids and cleaned the house. In the later afternoon we met and dropped the kids at my parents place and biked the 13km around Inland Lake, went for a swim at Haslam Lake then out for a fantastic supper at Costa Del Sol. We exchanged cards and were especially grateful for the one from the kids and the sweet song written by Lily that included “hier is some tishows if kring tise of jolle” which reads “here are some tissues if crying tears of joy”. AMAZING!!! (although admittedly I do feel slightly stressed about her spelling☺)
♥Happy sweet 16th birthday to my niece Sydney July 10th. Seriously, how/when did this happen?!!?! Makes me so happy that we were all able to get together to celebrate her with a great summer supper and her favourite black forest cake. Love you Syd, always.
