1/52

1/52 - a new year of portraits begins. This year marks my 3rd of taking weekly shots of the kids and I hope to, with each week, include a quote from each kid to go with their portrait. I'm also hoping for a shot of them together too but we'll see how it goes. Fingers & toes crossed.
"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Jackson "Did you see my goal Mom. It was the best one of the whole tournament I think."

Lily "If I ever get really hurt, I don't think I want to come back from it. Like I don't want to be in major pain ever. I think I'd rather not be here. Like I really don't want to feel a broken arm or leg ever." to which I told her that sadly she'd have to endure the pain and be with us still!!!

  2. I am loving the fact your son plays ice hockey! I used to play for a local team when we lived in Canada, it was great fun!

    1. Hi Clare, Jackson is an avid hockey player. I imagine this won't be the last portrait of him on the ice this year ☺

    1. Thanks Emma. I loved the shot of Lily and couldn't wait to post. Jackson was thrilled with his gold medal game and this shot was taken immediately after their win.
