"a portrait of, and quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Jackson: This weekend was hockey filled and he played really well scoring several goals over 4 games.
"Mom, are you hearing this? I can't believe they are playing the Beastie Boys in this mall!"
"Mom, did you see that guy? He has marijuana leaves on his socks? Why do you think he's wearing those? Do you think he thinks he's cool?"

Lily: So full of anxiety at times and others such a vibrant free spirit. I wish I could magically take her away from her fearful places and allow her to be full of life and at ease all the time. It's so hard. Home is where she is most comfortable, happy and wildly entertaining.
"Mom, you do realize that if we never even came into this mall, you would never have spent $40 just now"

  1. Aaawww they are so cute! I love the idea of not only the photo but the caption! Sometimes we forget to hear... or pay attention! Lovely captures!

    1. Thanks Carolina. The kids often baffle me with the things they say so I thought this would be a good place to document the best of.

  2. They are really growing up. I can't quite get my head round conversations like that as my little ones are so, well little! Sounds like an interesting mall trip. Gorgeous photos.

    1. Thanks Sian. I hesitated before including Jackson's quote about the socks but I wanted to remember it. They grow too fast and the quotes from both kids this week certainly show how old they are. Makes me a little sad. I'd rather they stay small forever.
