"a portrait of, and occasionally a quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Jackson: My boy was seriously happy to see the fields of flowers in the Skagit Valley on our little Spring Break trip. He couldn't believe his eyes and kept asking for the camera. I was thrilled that he was enjoying it as much as I was. He was snap chatting his friends and posting vids on IG. During our trip, he and I went to a Canucks game. It was my first ever and a lot of fun especially with super-fan Jackson by my side. "Mom, stop watching the game from the jumbo tron." "Mom, did you see that play? That's sort of what I do sometimes isn't it?" "Well that move was sort of crazy but it worked." "Those Sedin brothers are really cool. Great hockey players." "This is fun isn't it Mom. Do you like it?" I did indeed!

Lily: I think I'm going to blow up this photo and frame it for the wall. The look on her face is just so her. I LOVE IT so much. She didn't want to join us on our little 4 day Spring Break getaway. "Too much hustle in the city. We always go from place to place and I hate it always moving around too much." In the end she enjoyed herself but it's never easy convincing her to come with us. She'd much rather stay with her grandparents if given the choice - I'm so glad we didn't give her one this time.
