"a portrait of, and occasionally a quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2017"

Jackson: At his desk doing French homework, every night and most always only French. Every other teacher seems to give class time for work. I always feel proud when I walk into his room and he is doing his homework on his own. Sometimes prompting is necessary but most of the time he knows to just get it done.

Lily: After 3 tries, she finally passed Level 8 in swimming. This has been a stellar week for her. On Wednesday she brought home her report card. She received A's in everything except PE where she got a B. She felt very disappointed by this. We told her she has nothing to worry about. :)

Below Jack and Lily are jumping for joy from the snow covered grass on the last day of school before Spring(?) Break. Two weeks of no early get ups, no lunches, no homework, no nothing!!! Bliss really!

  1. Enjoy your holidays, ours aren't until the very end of March! Your children always sound so studious, academic and yet creative. You must be so proud x
