Our sweet fur babes George Bailey and Penny Lane turned 3 on May 10th. We filled paper cupcake holders with whipped cream and sang Happy Birthday to them. They loved the attention and were rewarded with a piece of prime rib from our supper earlier that evening as well as several licks of that whipped cream. I don't know how we lived without them in our lives. They are loved beyond words.

George Bailey and Penny Lane Turn ONE
Our sweet fur babies George Bailey and Penny Lane turned a year old May 11th. We celebrated them with a trip to the groomers for a wash/cut/blowdry/nail clip and then home for a dog treat covered in whipped cream and half a hamburger patty each. They also got a couple of new chew toys. They are a huge part of our family and we are so happy they are in our lives. Miss Penny is very mischievous and naughty and is constantly getting into trouble. Georgie is very much like Eeyore and is as loyal as they come. I never have to look around to find George because he follows me around everywhere and boy does he know how to play it up when you are leaving the house without him. Those eyes get me every time. We had no idea we would love them like we do but also couldn't imagine life without them. They are the sweetest little brother and sister shihtmixes in all the land, in our opinion anyway.

George Bailey and Penny Lane
On July 2nd, our family welcomed two new additions. George Bailey and Penny Lane are sister and brother shih tzu, lhasa apso, bichon frise cross born May 10. We may just have crazy written across our foreheads getting two puppies at once however they are as cute as can be and so far a ton of fun. I know there will be some trying times ahead but as of now they are great little sleepers and very affectionate babies. Teething is happening big time! George has been caught having a nibble on the dining room table so we have loads of toys around that are chewable and hopefully more appealing than a table. It's all a big learning experience right now and fortunately summer has just begun so we (mostly the kids as work doesn't stop for puppies) have a couple months to train them and get them used to life in our house. It's a exciting, slightly scary thing bringing home new pups but we are ready for it and have ample amounts of love to give.
