Nature Loving - Harlequin Ducks at Lang Creek

After we dropped the kids off at school on Hallowe'en Day, my sister and I drove south of town to Lang Creek to check out the Harlequin Ducks that are visiting the area. What majestic creatures! They really are something else, so colourful and beautiful and such a pleasure to watch. I can hardly believe that I've never heard of them before. I certainly didn't know they came to our town for a yearly visit. Once again, more gratitude for our neck of the woods! Powell River is beautiful!
