2/52

"a portrait of and quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2015"

Jackson: "I'm fine Mom, it hardly hurts" displaying a colourful bruise on his ring finger from stopping a flying puck during his last hockey game. The pain was obvious as he quickly skated off the ice causing instant worry from me sitting in the stands. Of course, he got back on the ice as soon as he could and shrugged off any pain he felt. He's so tough especially when it means playing or not.

Lily: "Any Taco, in any weather, is good"

  1. I did chuckle when I saw your first photo 'talk to the hand'. The one of them both together is so cute

  2. Ouch to the finger bruise. It's a great capture - definitely a picture of and sign of the times with children or teens of today #livingarrows

  3. Ouch to the bruise, but yes, I thought it was a 'talk to the hand' photo too- I love the steadfast commitment to sport.

  5. Brilliant pics. Proud of his war wound. It's funny how children can be so soft (not your boy, mainly my eldest I'm thinking of) but when it comes to said injury preventing them from being involved in something they love, they become really tough. I love the snowman pic too. I always enjoy your quotes :) #livingarrows
