Just before school returned from Winter break, we headed to one of my fav spots with cousins for a weenie roast. Traditionally, somewhere during Christmas break, we head up the mountains to find some snow, meet friends and play. So far winter has been very mild however late December brought with it a bit of cold. Jackson was a little disappointed as he wanted to sleigh ride but lakeside at Inland still provided enough of the white stuff for a little snowball fight and a to make a tiny snow family. How sweet is Lily's snowlady wearing her extra toque with branches for hair?!?! It's always nice to get outside and get some of that fresh cold air deep into your lungs. Hot chocolate and Bailey's plus homemade zucchini relish for the dogs make it perfection really! I just wish we'd done more of this on our time off! Now we'll just have to settle for weekend fun.
It looks magical but it's hard to imagine as I sit here melting in 30 something degree heat! Love the snow lady. Now I'm all Canada dreamin'....
