As ever, time is racing. It always seems to speed up as the end of the school year grows closer. I can hardly believe it's been two weeks since my last post!?!
Week 18
"a portrait of, and occasionally a quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2016"
Jackson: The lake is still very chilly but that doesn't stop him.
Anytime, almost every time we go, he's excited to jump in and feel the rush.
Lily: My budding photographer shown here taking photographs of her doll having breakfast. Afterwards, she posed her outside playing, teaching school, tea with friends...it went on most of the afternoon!
Week 19
"a portrait of, and occasionally a quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2016"
Jackson: My sweet boy attended his first school district dance this week and really enjoyed the evening despite the lack of dancing from all in attendance. You can't expect much from a bunch of 12 and 13 year olds. Overall, the night was a great success and lots of smiles and new friends were made. Tragically, I didn't get any decent photos of him on his own as I was the organizer and was too busy. Next time for sure. Instead, his picture this week shows his addiction to the small screen. He is outside often shooting pucks or playing road hockey or baseball but whenever he's inside, that device is in his hands. I'm making big efforts to watch my own use to set a good example for him but it's still a struggle. Any suggestions?
Lily: She was a great help with our Mother's Day brunch for my Mom, Granny, Neil's Mom, Auntie and my sister. She made cards and set the table and had a wonderful afternoon with the ladies.

I love your photos. The picture taking on the table is fantastic! I love how you've caught up rather than just skipped a week too :) x
ReplyDeleteLove that very last photo, I'm a bit of a sucker for black and white! Also love your daughter up on the table photographing her dolls, she seems quite serious about her photography! x #LivingArrows
