33&34/72

PLaying catch up again! Time is racing as ever!

Week 33
"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2018"

Jackson: Walking in the parade at in Nanaimo at Provincials for baseball. His team made it all the way to the semi-finals but ended up losing 10-9 against the best team. Jackson played very well, had several great hits had a good weekend regardless of the outcome.

Lily: On the way home from Nanaimo and Provincials, we stopped in Coombs to shop and get an ice cream before heading to the ferry, Lily is a huge fan of Coombs so she was extra pleased with our stop.

Week 34
"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2018"

Jackson & Lily: Pictured with smoky skies as their backdrop. Everything feels very apocalyptic right now. The sun is orange high in the sky and it is still very warm but there is no blue sky.  It just feels crazy. The fires around our province are raging and although we don't have one burning in our town, we are feeling the effects from elsewhere.  It's scary.

  1. Jackson is getting so tall isn't he? And Lily looks like she loves the ice cream stop. I know I say it often but it's so lovely watching your children grow week by week, they really are growing up! x

  2. They look really alike here, much more than in some of the pictures I've seen before. The fires sound really scary, I hope you stay safe and they get them under control soon. #LivingArrows
