Jackson & Lily: Opening presents at their Nana's place on Christmas Day and with their stockings at our place at the very reasonable hour of 8:38am!! Thank you teenagers. 

(Below, a bonus shot of Jackson as goalie from an end of year 3 on 3 tourney. He isn't a goalie but actually did pretty good but really didn't care much. The tourney was a fun one and he had a great time!)

Jackson & Lily: Both caught playing on their phones. Unfortunately, this is pretty normal now.

Week 50

Jackson: Anxiously awaiting his favourite breakfast, Chorizo Benny, at one of our fav places to eat. 

Lily: She's 13!!!

Jackson: It seems to be getting harder and harder to catch this guy but I'm determined and he knows it so usually cooperates. :)

Jackson & Lily: Sadly another week of iPhone shots but they are fun. We went to the big city for the weekend and did a lot of fun Christmastime activities as well as visit friends and eat. :) Jackson is standing in front of the tree in the lodge on Grouse Mountain and Lily is in her seat waiting for the Charlie Brown Holiday Double Bill to begin. We had a wonderful weekend but wished we had more time to do more. School is over for me next weekend so more time = better photos!!!

A double week and only iPhone shots due to intense amounts of homework for me. My course is almost over but the end is proving to be a bigger hill to climb then I ever imagined. However, I am almost there. One more big essay and three exams and my course work is over. Then I'm onto my 200hours of practicum. So so excited!!! 

Week 47

Jackson: He loves our fur babies so much. We all do actually but he is caught chatting with them daily. 

Lily: She made the Honour Roll for her first high school report card. Woohoo!!!!

 Week 48

Jackson: He's found something else to keep him busy beyond school, hockey and reffing. He's joined the school basketball team and is loving it. We watched him play the other night and he was very good.I preferred this action shot over others I took so Lily helped me to blur out the other players. 

Lily: An iPhone pic is all we got this week. We were in Parksville over the weekend for a hockey tournament and in between games, Lily and I headed to the beach for a walk. November has been giving us some pretty sweet weather so we decided to take advantage and get some fresh air.

Jackson: He didn't go trick or treating this year but did wander the streets a bit with his buddies before landing at a little house party where they let off fireworks. As ever, my heart hurts that he is so old. 

Snow White: Lily had a wonderful evening with her friends. Myself and my sister walked behind Lily and Oscker and their big group and only bugged occasionally for pics and a treat or two. :)

Jackson: He's back in his happy place and so glad the hockey season has started again. No rep team this year but a great house coach who is keen to travel to play other teams. My boy is happy and having fun and that is what I prefer out of hockey rather than pressure. 

Lily: Enjoying some fall fun on a gorgeous October day.
