All the Fall Feals

It makes my heart sing that my girl is still willing to go and play in the leaves for my camera. I love this time of year so much and feel so much gratitude for all the lovely weather we have had to soak up and enjoy the colour that surrounds us. Keep in coming Mother Nature.

 

Cut Flowers from the Yard

Fresh flowers on my table make me happy. Free fresh flowers on my table make me even happier. We didn't plant all the tulips that pop up every Spring but I'm sure thrilled when they arrive. My MIL always brings over a bouquet or two of lilacs from her huge tree and then following that, Lily of the Valley bloom in the backyard. All these keep me going for well over a month and then our local Farmer's Market begins for the season and I usually go there once a weekend and find a lovely bouquet. What can I say? Flowers on my table are my guilty weekly pleasure. It costs nothing when you pick your own from your yard and not much when buying from the market. They bring me cheer and I won't stop. :)
