bits from our long weekend in the city

It's was a whirlwind but I have to say last weekend was truly one of the best I've ever had. The obvious highlight seeing Sir Paul McCartney. He did not disappoint and even sang my most fav song of his! I will be forever grateful for the experience I shared with 40 000+ others (smile). It was a big show, he sounded and looked great for 70 and I'm so glad that my kids and my best guy were there with me. Of course, the weekend was also great because we got to reconnect with a load of our VanCity family! While Neil and I lived there for 13 years we made a tremendous family of friends and that is what we miss more than anything else about the city. PR isn't miles away but the ferries make it difficult and expensive to go back and forth very often. It's always nice when we are there to fit as many friends in as possible and this time we saw loads. Amidst all the visits and Macca, I took Lily on a special early birthday present date to Disney on Ice, Neil dj'd at Save on Meats, the kids met Santa at the mall and told him what they wished for and I got to indulge in not one but two bellini's!!!So nice to get away and have such a good time. It'll be pretty hard to top this weekend!

  1. What a lovely trip Jen. So many wonderful pictures, glad to see you guys got to connect with Sarah and Theresa. My favs are Lily lying down on the railway tracks and the car seat crochet. Looks like this trip will be one for the memory books for sure.
