on the way home-revised

I made several stops on the way home this evening to take pictures. As I said to the kids, we must take advantage and admire the beauty on these lovely evenings as the rain and wind could easily come tomorrow and rip it all away. The blossoms around town right now are stunning! Most of these photos were taken in the townsite. There is so much colour and everything just seems fresh. I managed to catch a turkey vulture in action but then it flew away (from me and my nuisance of a lens to find some peace and quiet I guess). We carried on with another stop at Gibsons Beach then for some play in Sliammon while the ducks swam by and returned home to catch the last bit of the sun setting over Savary. This weather does my mind and body wonders and stopping a dozen times on the way home to take photos is my kind of night. Hope you enjoy too!

*My Dad believes that the bird in question is indeed a turkey vulture and not a hawk. A simple google search would've helped me figure it out myself but I was too lazy at the time. ☺

  1. Absolutely stunning; you/we are indeed very lucky to live in such a naturally beautiful and clean place.
