Making me happy this week...
♥Every year near the end of May, our school puts on a Strawberry Tea. It's a lovely afternoon of thanks to parents and volunteers complete with tea/coffee/juice, strawberry cake and performances.
♥Crossing the Straight of Georgia is always lovely even if you have to ride yucky BC Ferries to do it!
♥Jackson was lucky enough to take part in the Mini World Cup this year in Parksville. This event itself is wonderful. So many kids and tons of fun. Tigh Na Mara offered families a great rate and we didn't hesitate. The kids were overjoyed to stay in such a luxurious place. I think they had 4 baths in the huge jacuzzi tub! It's an amazing spot especially for couples but I'm pretty impressed that they encouraged families to stay as well and at such a bargain. We have stayed before but never with the kids. It was a great treat for them and they knew it. If you ever get the chance to go, jump on it!
♥This mermaid created by Lily and Neve while waiting for the ferry is pretty damn cute.
