Blackberries are plentiful in our area this time of year so a crisp is a much anticipated family favourite every August. We make it and eat it too quickly then make some more. It's a great treat after a meal or for breakfast. We can't seem to get enough. I like to use Betty Crocker's Apple Crisp recipe minus the apples although if we are nearing the end of the season, adding apples to the blackberries is lovely too. Make some, you won't be disappointed!
