Texada Island Flora & Fauna

Texada Island is a magical place just a short 30 minute ferry ride from us that we don't visit often enough. It's predator free (no bears or cougars) so tremendously appealing for hiking and camping. The roads are lined with wildflowers (how about the Queen Anne's Lace?), deer are at every turn and the swimming is top notch. We were there all last long weekend, camping and exploring with friends. For more photos, look here. Hopefully we will return again before summer is over.

  5. How gorgeous is that place, Jen? So beautiful and your images do it justice. I find that we often don't make time for the places that are closest to us. I'm not sure why that is. The frogs on the lily pads crack me up for some reason - great shots!

Thank you for linking up with us for Photo Friday this week!
