"a portrait of, and occasionally a quote from my children, once a week, every week, in 2016"
Jackson: One of his best friends who lives in Edmonton with his Dad has been in PR all week visiting and my boy couldn't be happier about it. There have been a couple sleepovers, school visits, loads of road hockey and even a bowling date with girls. Jackson has had a super time and will miss his buddy when he goes back to his Dad's place on Tuesday.
Lily: This little lady continues to make my heart swell with pride. While at a birthday party over the weekend, several girls were not being kind to another guest. Lily spoke up and told them they weren't being nice. Years ago I don't think she would've dreamed of doing this. I'm proud of how far she has come and that she cares and is so thoughtful and compassionate.
Beautiful pictures, I'm not surprised your proud what a wonderful thing for your daughter to do! I'm sure when I was young I would have been too shy to speak up, so that's so lovely of her.
ReplyDeleteIt's great when you see your kids gaining confidence particularly in a peer group to speak up and do the right thing...this is my 3rd year of doing The 52 Project and seriously it is so easy to do and seeing all the pics together is great. Each week I copy my pictures into it's own folder and rename it "Week 12 - James" or "Week 12 - Sienna" that way all the pictures are together and I can put a photo book together without having to go find the pics again. Well that's the idea anyway....great pics...thanks for leaving lovely comments on my blog it's always lovely to read them and I appreciate it. Have a good week. Kathy A, Brisbane
