on this harvest moon

A full moon always seems to make me crazy but I did ok this time around. The full Harvest Moon shone brightly in a clear sky for us to enjoy last night. Neil, Lily and I headed to the beach to take some photos and admire the beauty while Jackson stayed warm and cozy under his blankets sound asleep just after 10pm . When I woke up this morning around 5:50am, the moon was lighting up our home with it's amazing light. The reflection on the ocean was so very beautiful. Once again, I'm grateful beyond words for where we live and the beauty of nature all around us.

I took these photos this morning June 23, around 4:30am. With my skills and camera, I couldn't capture just how bright this beautiful moon looked shining over the Salish Sea in front of our place. I'm so grateful that the clouds moved on out and allowed us to see this beauty. AND...it didn't affect me like others have in the past.
