STILLS: OUR BEACHY WEEKEND

Palm Beach

Lois Lake

Donkersley Beach

We have been seriously spoiled with outstanding weather here in Powell River. The sun is shining and HOT so most days (except for the couple days a week when I'm working) you'll find us at the beach. Neil does get to join us once in awhile. Another blessing for me is working only part-time.

This weekend we headed to Palm Beach to have another birthday party for Nana Jane. I'm particularly blessed as my family and Neil's get along so well that we most always have both sides around for any celebration. I think my favourite shot in this batch  is my Granny and my Mom in the ocean. We never thought we'd see my Granny enjoying the water again after her stroke a year and a half ago. Amazing!!! We also had a super time at Tom's Cabin on Lois Lake with our cousins and then a fabulous Sunday at Donkersley with friend and family. Summertime is like no other!!

the past week-from my iPhone and Canon

August 5 was spent at our friend Tom's cabin on Lois lake, tubing, eating, swimming,
more eating, more swimming...you get the idea. IT WAS HOT! WOW!
beauty day to spend with family and friends on the lake

later in the evening we all went to see Brave in 3D. Lily and Oscker
were a little frightened and sat on our laps much to the dismay
of us as their is no air conditioning in the Patricia

BC day provided a little cloud cover perfect for some road hockey.
our boys won best uniforms and silver medals overall
BC Day also means a midsummer's feast at the market.
