An Afternoon at the Beach

Lately we've been spending a lot of time at the beach. We have been fortunate in our community to have the freedom to get outside and enjoy nature during this global pandemic, a HUGE benefit of living in a small isolated town. On this particular trip we had the entire beach to ourselves for most of the time we were there. We dipped only our toes in the ocean, saw loads of crabs and starfish while eagles flew overhead.  Getting outside clears my head and I'm so grateful to live so close to so many beautiful spots that offer so much to explore.

STILLS: Summer is so close, we can almost taste it

Summer hasn't officially started but we are already feeling the love and warmth of what this time of year brings. In the last couple of weeks, we've made multiple trips to Mahoods, had several outdoor picnics and rode around Inland Lake - SO exciting knowing this is only just the beginning!!! How many times have I said that before?! Beach time, good books, outdoor fires, bbq, family, friends, flowers, NO SCHOOL, lakes, ocean, fresh fruits and veg, sunkissed skin, berries, the list goes on and on really and it all adds up to happy! Powell River is THE place to be in the summertime. Come visit!
