Making me happy this week...
♥being 26 weeks into this project. I wondered at the start if I would keep it up and am thrilled that I have week after week regardless of sometimes feeling like it was hard to find happy things. Thank you again to the beautiful Jen at Little Birdie for starting this up and keeping up with her own happy things.
♥Lily has been selling her cards at the Farmers Market. She sells them for $1 a piece and has been selling out almost every weekend. This hasn't been going on long but she's made a little bit of money and enjoys doing it. Special thanks goes out to our friend Juhli for letting her sell her cards at her stand.
♥With Lily's earnings and her huge desire to have a pet, the kids went out on the weekend and bought a siamese fighting fish each. Cats and dogs aren't really an option for us as we are never home but a fish fit the bill perfectly and both kids are thrilled. Jackson called his Canuck and Lily called hers Long Life!!! No joke!
♥Mother's Day treats were extra great this year. Mr. Non-artist Jackson painted me a lovely picture and Lily made a cute card with the sweetest words inside. I was also spoiled with some Lush stuff but the handmade treats and the BEST and make my heart soar!
