52 weeks of happy 42/52

"The happiest people don't have the best of everything,
they just make the best of everything"

Making me happy this week...
♥We stayed at home all day long. This may seem a silly thing to some people but unfortunately this is a rare occurrence for us. It was raining outside so we had a great excuse to stay in our pj's and do not much of anything. We put on Home Alone, made some nachos and labeled school supplies and it was pure bliss!!!
♥We spent Labour Day morning with friends and in the afternoon, just the 4 of us went to Mahoods for one last play at the beach before summer break officially ended. There were two other families there when we arrived who left soon after we got there. We had the whole beach to ourselves for a few hours. The kids even went skinny dipping. More bliss!!!
♥After we returned from Mahoods, we met my family and headed to another beach for an end of summer fireworks show to music. It was the best display Powell River has ever see.
Thank you Quality Foods!
♥Lily and I are back to our weekly lessons. I'm happy to return to our Wednesday evenings with Juhli learning the art of crochet.

I'm also so very happy this week for nature. I can't talk enough about the pod of orcas who visited our neighborhood and put on a fantastic and long show out front of our place. I was tearful and beyond grateful. We hear loons calling at all times during the day and evening and see eagles flying overhead. Such beautiful sounds and sights. Plus we've seen so many bears. Fortunately I've been in a car or far enough away while walking but really it's pretty amazing to see them doing there own thing. Lily, Neve and I watched a bear in a field the other day munching on some grass and suddenly he stood up. The girls were a fit of giggles and disbelief as suddenly he/she looked like a character in a story book.  We are so fortunate to live where we do and it makes me happy and forever thankful for our life.
