June Memories

As I mentioned here, June flew by much like December does with a full calendar. It was busy busy but loads of fun. The stellar weather meant any free time we had was spent at the beach (skimming season has begun), with friends, enjoying nature or at the market. My sweet niece Syd graduated - I'm still in awe of the fact that in just over a month she'll have left town and headed to college for the year. Craziness!!!  Baseball season ended but summer ball continues to the end of July...ahhhhhh! Jackson took and passed the babysitting course and has already had his first job, hopefully the first of many. We spent time with and said goodbye to our special friend Dignan as he has moved away to live with his Dad (lots of tears). He's a great kid and we will really miss him but hope to see him when he returns on holidays for visits with his Mama and of course through Facetime.  Jackson & Lily enjoyed lots of end of year activities with their classes and another great Fun Day - YAY! The Green Gators WIN!!! We enjoyed a great family supper to celebrate Father's Day and I reunited with a couple of my besties at a party where we took the photo above of us with our three daughters below. I hope they will always stay friends like we have. School ended much more pleasantly when compared to last year. The kids both had successful years and will return to school in September to Grades 7 & 5!!! June was wonderful!
