Jackson: Caught him smiling mid play. He took a couple days off this week from school and hockey. I'd say it was more forced than voluntary but the sniffles and scratchy throat accompanying a cough were signs to me he needed a break. Now he's back at it all and feeling fine. 

Lily: "Please take a picture of me and my favourite tree friend here." Hamming it up as ever and we wouldn't want it any other way!
