"a portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2019"
Jackson: Heading to find his team at the ferry terminal for a weekend of hockey in Port Alberni. Saying goodbye never gets any easier even if he's older and wiser. I hate when he leaves but am so grateful he calls and texts and even sends requested pictures if I ask him. He had a super weekend with his team and ended up scoring the game winning goal in OT for his team to take Bronze. As ever, I'm a proud Mama but a little sad that I didn't insist on going to watch so I could've seen him in action.
Lily: I was having a tough time deciding on her pic for the week so posted my other options below. I chose this one because she tried something new and exciting. Powell River recently got a climbing gym and she was eager to give it a go. She was invited to join some friends and LOVED it. I suspect her new membership will be well used. She looks forward to next time and attempting the higher walls.
This is my 6th!!! year recording my children once a week, every week for the entire year. I'm so grateful for this project. My very first week was January 2013. Their changing looks are a measure of time for sure.
Go check out my first post here. They were so small.
They have changed so much! Great achievements for them both this week!
ReplyDeleteOh I am just so pleased you're back for another year. We should be going climbing for the first time this weekend, I might be more excited than the kids! x
ReplyDeleteLily looks so comfortable on that climbing wall - I can see why you struggled to pick though, the others are lovely too. And Jackson just looks so grown up now - I can't imagine what it's going to be like the first time my boys go away without me. I'm looking forward to see them both grow through another year of Living Arrows :) #LivingArrows
